wow its been awhile..

Zoo trip.

 That was interesting.

 4 hours max to do 4 pages of gestures and 2 studies. 

Needless to say I drew and handed in mostly birds.

the Bone Portfolio!

Our bone portfolio was quite the project. 

Assigned the first week of class, we were to take home various replicas of human bones, study them and draw them in 4 different views accurately along with the rest of the human skeleton. Then to assemble said drawings into a book compiled with some sort of theme. 

took 13 weeks to complete, learned lots, and best of all, had fun.

I had lots of fun painting these, most were done in about 15 minutes, some less. 

The Gryphon in the old house

living in an abandoned house in the woods, a lonely gryphon reads

concepts and sketches I did for the above painting, all done for layout class.

I'm still working on his character design, not sure if I like it 100%.
